Unsubscribe instructions are at the end of this newsletter. ----------------------------------------------- IN THIS ISSUE ----------------------------------------------- => Hall of Fame Hotel Information => Dates/Locations for Tournaments needed => Available Tournaments => Invitational => Subscribe/Unsubscribe information ----------------------------------------------- NYS HALL OF FAME INDUCTION ----------------------------------------------- The Francis Mott New York State Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at the Binghamton Regency Hotel and Conference Center on March 12, 2005 in Binghamton, NY. We have a group rate of $66.00 per room, but reservations must be made by February 18th. Reservations for the inductees have already been made. Contact the hotel at (607) 722-7575, 1 Sarbro Sq., Binghamton, NY 13901 ----------------------------------------------- N.Y.S. CHAMPIONSHIPS – DATES/CONTACT ----------------------------------------------- If you have been awarded a New York State ASA Championship Tournament for 2005, please send in the dates and contact information you will be hosting your event. The sooner we can provide this information to our teams, the easier it will be for them to add our New York State Championship to their schedule. ----------------------------------------------- AVAILABLE N.Y.S.A.S.A. CHAMPIONSHIPS ----------------------------------------------- The following New York State Championships are in need of a host location and tournament director: ·Women’s Major Modified ·Women’s Class C Slow Pitch ·Men’s Class B Fast Pitch ·Men’s Class C Fast Pitch ·Men’s 40 Over Fast Pitch ·Men’s 9 Man Major Modified ·Men’s 9 Man A Modified ·Men’s Class C Slow Pitch ·Men’s 35 Over Slow Pitch If you are interested in hosting any of these tournaments, please get let me know as soon as possible. If we do not have anyone interested in hosting these events, they will be removed from our tournament listings. ----------------------------------------------- INVITATIONALS ----------------------------------------------- If you, your field, complex or local organization is planning to host a NYSASA sanctioned invitational tournament please forward the information to Bev Valachovic, Bill Doxsey and myself. A $25 fee to sanction the tournament with New York State ASA should be included. The $25 would go to Bev for Junior Olympic Tournaments and to me for Adult Tournaments. If the information is received soon enough, the event will be placed in the New York State Handbook. Each registering team receives one.
