	John Fitzsimmons Oswego, NY John started playing fast pitch softball and became a pitcher rather quickly. He would pitch almost every weekend in the summer for many travel teams in the Oswego area. He possessed a hard fastball, a sharply moving riser and a smooth drop pitch. He was the ace of every staff he pitched on. His teams consistently won the Oswego City Class "A" League. John played in many New York State Tournaments and would often make the trek across the state every weekend to participate. He won many Most Valuable Pitcher Awards during these years. In his career John has participated in numerous National Championships and helped his Oswego Team to capture the New York State Title most every year. He has pitched a number of no-hitters and also a few perfect games in Class "A" competition, not only in New York, but in National Tournaments. His teams captured approximately 9 National ASA Tournaments.
