 Districk 14 NYS ASA Hosts the 2007 Girls 18 & Under Class "A" FP State Tournament DATE: June 29th, 30th, & July 1st, 2007 RAIN DATE: Following weekend SITE: Legends Complex - Oswego, New York FORMAT: Pool Play on Friday, followed by Double Elimination on Saturday and Sunday. Each team is guaranteed four games. ENTRY FEE: $400 {non-refundable}. Check or Money Order payable to Dick Axtell, District Commissioner. ENTRY FEE & FORM DEADLINE: Entry fee & form must be in the hands of the Tournament Director ten days prior to the start of the tournament. ROSTER DEADLINE: Official roster must be legible and signed by the team's local commissioner. Roster, birth certificates w/photos and proof of insurance must be in the hands of the tournament director ten days prior to the start of the tournament. Copies are acceptable. Originals must be handed in before a team's first game. No players will be added to the roster during the course of the tournament. ELIGIBILITY: All teams must be registered with N.Y.S. A.S.A. RULES: 2007 A.S.A. Playing Rules/Code will apply. BRACKETS: Official A.S.A. Brackets will be used. Starting times for Friday Pool Play will be available the Monday prior to the start of the tournament. FORFEIT TIME: Fifteen minutes after scheduled starting time. OFFICIALS: A.S.A. sanctioned umpires. INSURANCE: Each team must have proof of insurance coverage. UNIFORMS: Matching jerseys required. Ball caps, visors, & headbands are optional. They can be mixed. If more than one type is worn, they must be of the same color! Handkerchiefs do not qualify as headbands and cannot be worn around the head or neck. Other organizational patches are not to be worn. NOTE: Plastic Visors are not allowed! ADVANCEMENT: Top two teams will receive a bid to the USA/ASA class "A" 18 & under National Championship in Bryan/College Station, Texas. 7/29 - 8/5/2007. FOOD CONCESSIONS: Snack Bar on site. Coffee, hot chocolate, doughnuts, soda, Gatorade, bottled water, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, Philly Style steak & chicken sandwiches, French fries, candy, ice cream, etc. USE OF ALCOHOL & TOBACCO PRODUCTS: Is prohibited at ALL Junior Olympic Tournaments.
