	Bev Valachovic · Bev has been active in the Amateur Softball Association since 1975. · She organized a Women’s Fast Pitch Class “A” Team. She competed and traveled to many New York State Tournaments. · Bev’s teams qualified for 4 Mid-Atlantic Regional tournaments. · Bev was elected president of the Women’s Softball League of the Southern Tier and served in that capacity for three years. · For 10 years she was actively involved in the 10 National Tournaments that Binghamton ASA was very proud to host. · While still coaching, Bev was appointed Women’s Deputy State Fast Pitch Commissioner. She continued to coach for 3 more years – coaching the Binghamton Blazers – the host team for the Women’s Major Fast Pitch Nationals that Binghamton ASA hosted. · Upon the tragic death of her friend, Fred Schneider, Bev was appointed New York State Junior Olympic Commissioner to take his place.
