	Kathleen Zifchock Bloomingburgh, NY Kathy started her umpiring career in 1984. Kathy is a 23 year ASA Member. She has attended numerous ASA State & Regional Umpire Clinics. She has officiated in the Empire State Games since 1995. Kathy has officiated over 25 NYS Girls Fast Pitch, Women’s Slow Pitch & Men’s Fast Pitch & Modified Pitch Tournaments. She has officiated in 3 ASA Mid Atlantic Regional Tournaments. She has also officiated in 3 ASA National Qualifying Tournaments in Fast Pitch Softball. Kathy has been chosen to officiate in 8 ASA National Tournaments, working the plate in the final games in the Women’s "B" Slow Pitch & the Women’s Modified Pitch Tournaments, a very prestigious achievement. She has served as President on the NYS Umpires Council. She was inducted as a Charter Member of the NYS ASA Umpires Indicator Fraternity in 1990. She was inducted into the ASA National Indictor Fraternity in 1995. Kathy was the recipient of the Mid Atlantic Region George Smith Memorial Award in 1996 for outstanding service, de3dication, loyalty & ability. She is a participant in the ASA Medals Program in the Blue, Bronze, Silver & Gold Levels.
